• Gravity Casting: Gravity Casting moulds liquid aluminium into highly complex frame sections, resulting in extremely strong structures that can better withstand stress. For example, with our Hybrid models we're able to produce a motor mount that's optimised to cope with the loads placed on it in this specialised application, without adding unnecessary weight or sacrificing strength.
• Aluminium Superlite: CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
• Frame organics: A bicycle frame is an amazing piece of engineering. And now, with our Smooth Welding technology, we're able to give it the elegant appearance it thoroughly deserves. With no visible weld beads, one tube appears to flow seamlessly into the next.
