We integrated the cables for long service life and better looks, and the 400Wh battery is built into the down tube to save space and weight. There's a versatile, rugged rear carrier and an optional front carrier for carrying your belongings. • Carbon fork: How important is material choice? When it comes to the fork that holds your front wheel, more important than you might think. Not only is our Carbon Fork exceptionally light and strong, it's also surprisingly comfortable to ride. And, when you're weaving your way through city streets, those are all qualities that you'll appreciate.
• Advanced Internal Cable Routing: Gear and brake cables need a way to get from handlebar controls to frame – but what if there was no need for holes near the head tube? We came up with a design that takes cables into the frame via the headset, maintaining full internal cable routing but making it even neater and less obtrusive.
• Fixed Integrated Battery: Bosch SX technology incorporates a new, lighter and more configurable battery setup. To make the most of the weight saving, we've integrated the new battery fully into the down tube. This means we can position it optimally for the best weight distribution and handling, as well as saving more weight by building a down tube that's precisely the right size to fit, and without the need for an access hatch. And the Power More option means you can add an additional 250Wh battery quickly and simply, for extra range. It's the best of both worlds.
• Fender & Rack Option: A gravel bike is a supremely versatile beast, which is why all our gravel models have a fender and rack option. With generous frame clearances to fit comfortable, safe and grippy tyres even with full length mudguards, we also neatly integrated the rear rack into the mudguard design – and included a rear light, too.
• Front Carrier Ready: Carrying your belongings, shopping or work bag just got a little easier. Our new HIC (Headset Integrated Carrier) fits simply, neatly and very securely on the front of your CUBE bike to add accessible, stable and versatile load-carrying capacity. With the ability to safely accommodate a Eurobox of 300mm x 400mm, up to 20kg in weight and RILink accessories, you'll wonder how you managed without.
• Efficient Comfort Geometry: With our specially designed Efficient Comfort Geometry, cycling is a simple pleasure. Whether you're popping across town or exploring further afield, taking a ride with the family or with friends, for work or for pleasure, we've created a ride experience that will have you coming back for more.
• Smooth Welding: Smooth Welding isn't easy, but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First, and most obviously, it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second, and at least as importantly, it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.
• Aluminium Superlite: CUBE's Aluminium Superlite starts with heat-treated 6061 aluminium, which has the qualities – high fatigue resistance, good stiffness, low weight and excellent strength – that are important for a bicycle frame. Then we make it into double butted tubes, to reduce weight without sacrificing any of its strength. The result? Exceptionally light, strong and tough frames.
